Day 4 – Wind, Rooftops & Bikinis
While the competition is still on wind hold at the Blue Palawan International Kiteboarding Open, the arrival of the brand new Liquid Force Rooftop brings added excitement and anticipation for the windy days to come.
For the fourth day of the contest, riders lounged by the pool, kayaked, stand up paddle boarded and helped with the assembly of the long awaited Liquid Force Rooftop. The new feature will be put in the water for the first time tomorrow morning and wind allowing will be sessioned throughout the remainder of the event.
In addition to enjoying the amenities at the Blue Palawan resort, riders have been hosted nightly at various local restaurants and cinemas. The athletes enjoyed a private screening of Puerto Princessa’s own major movie friday night and crowned the first Miss Sensi Bikinis Philippines saturday night.
While the forecast is still calling for light wind Sunday, Monday and Tuesday hold promise for contestable winds and all the riders look forward to resuming with the sliders final then into the Kicker discipline. Day 4 – Vento, Rooftops e Bikini
Mentre i riders sono ancora in attesa del vento al Blue Palawan International Kiteboarding Open, l’arrivo del nuovo Liquid Force Rooftop aumenta l’eccitazione e l’attesa per il vento.
Per il quarto giorno di gara, i riders erano a rilassarsi in piscina, alcuni in acqua a fare kayak e altri in S.U.P. L’arrivo del Rooftop Liquid Force ha animato gli animi, così tutti hanno aiutato nello scarico e nel montaggio. La nuova struttura sarà messa in acqua oggi e, vento permettendo, sarà pronta a milioni di passaggi!
Oltre a godere delle bellezze del Blu Palawan Resort, i riders sono stati ospitati presso cinema locali e ristoranti. Gli atleti hanno potuto partecipare alla proiezione di un grande film la notte di venerdì e, il sabato, hanno incoronato la prima Miss Bikini Sensi Filippine a Puerto Princessa, dove le bellissime ragazze, hanno sfilato con i modelli di Sensi Graves.
La previsione da ancora vento leggero per oggi, lunedì e martedì sembrano giornate decisamente migliori per le finali sliders e le eliminatorie del kicker.
