Action for Day 2 – Blue Palawan International Kiteboard Open
An unexpected breeze for Day 2
What was originally expected to be a lay day with the mornings light forecast surprisingly turned into more action for day 2 of the Blue Palawan International Kiteboard Open.
With the wind filling in mid afternoon, the remaining 3 heats for features semi finals got underway. Starting with the men’s third and final heat of the round, light but steady wind held consistent to see Brandon Scheid, Sam Medysky, Noe Font, Axel Tack, Tobias Holter, Eric Reinstra, Sam Light, Tom Court and Craig Cunningham make their way to the finals.
On the women’s side of things it was Julia Castro, Sensi Graves, Victoria Soloveykina, Karolina Winkowska, Colleen Carroll, Therese Taabbel, Malin Amle and Manuela Jungo who would continue on to the finals.
Today’s competition will resume with men’s and women’s features finals followed by beginning rounds of the kicker portion of the event. With a great forecast on the horizon, everyone is looking forward to another great day of action at the beautiful Blue Palawan Resort. Una brezza inaspettata per la seconda giornata di gare.
Non ci aspettava di certo, per la seconda giornata dell’evento, una mattinata con brezza leggera, trasformatasi in un pomeriggio sorprendente con grande azione al Blue Palawan International Kiteboarding Open.
A metà pomeriggio, le tre manches restanti delle semifinali hanno preso il via, terza e ultima heat per gli uomini, con vento leggero ma costante. Brandon Scheid, Sam Medysky, Noè Font, Axel Tack, Tobias Holter, Eric Reinstra, Sam Light, Tom Court e Crai Cunningham, si fanno strada per la finale!
Nel tabellone femminile, Julia Castro, Sensi Graves, Victoria Soloveykina, Karolina Winkowska, Colleen Carroll, Therese Taabbel, Malin Amle e Manuela Jungo accedono alla fase conclusiva.
Oggi si riprenderà dal tabellone maschile, seguiti dalla finale femminile, per poi passare alla seconda specialità prevista dell’evento, il kicker.
Con ottime previsioni all’orizzonte, tutti sono in attesa di una grande giornata presso il Blue Palawan Resort.
